In the following sentences identify the phrases and state whether they are adjective phrases, adverb phrases or noun phrases.

An adjective phrase serves the same purpose as an adjective. It modifies a noun or pronoun.

An adverb phrase serves the same purpose as an adverb. It modifies a verb.

A noun phrase serves the same purpose as a noun. It acts as the subject or object of the verb.
